Giving Back to the Community
The
Dental Lifeline Network has provided a national service for 27 years to people
who are elderly, severely ill or have disabilities and lack the financial
resources for dental care. DentaCheques is a coupon book that allows participating
dentists to receive free supplies in return for their support of the Dental
Lifeline Network. This year Certol will be donating 50 free Pro Tector® needle
sheath props to each dentist that is donating their time and efforts to
this cause. The Pro Tector needle sheaths will ensure that the volunteering dentists
are able to safely recap needles used for injections to the patients. To read
some of the incredible stories of kindness that this organization displays
please visit the Dental Lifeline website.Tuesday, June 25, 2013

Arizona Western Regional Recap
The Arizona western regional meeting in Phoenix, AZ was three days of learning, speaking to customers about new products and a little fun in the sun. Certol handed out over 200 samples bags to dentists, hygienists, and office staff.
Certol promoted the new tall canister of ProSpray wipes and handed out samples in the new Eco friendly large sample tote. We sampled Pro Tector needle sheath prop, ProTray disposable trays, Good Vibrations, ProE-Vac, ProBarrier disposa chains and masks, and the new Tall Canister of ProSpray wipes.
On the final day of the show, we drew names from our list of guests who had stopped by our booth, and gave away a new amazon kindle. The winner was Dr. Rebecca Schaffer from Phoenix, AZ and she was very excited to have won a kindle just for stopping by the Certol booth and picking up samples to try at her office.
HOPE FEST!
At the end of the AZwR 2012 Meeting, Certol donated the remaining product of ProSpray wipes Tall Canister and softpacks, ProE-Vac system cleaner, and Good Vibrations ultrasonic cleaner solution to a local charity in Phoenix called Hope Fest.

Certol Donates to Hawaii’s Habilitat Car Wash Fundraiser

Habilitat has long been recognized as one of the nation’s foremost residential substance-abuse treatment programs. With meager resources, Mr. Marino founded Habilitat on January 27, 1971, starting with only eight people housed in a small home in Kailua, Hawai`i. Mr. Marino was determined to pursue his uncompromising commitment to address the growing epidemic of individuals with substance abuse problems and other anti-social behaviors.
Certol’s products have been useful to boost productivity, and reduce waiting time for customers utilizing the Habilitat car wash services. “I would like to thank you personally, on behalf of all of the residents here, for helping us once again to achieve our goal of working hard, smart and efficient, creating a superior finished product for our valued supporters,” says Mr. Mason.

Viva Las Vegas!
Certol was recently in Las Vegas, Nevada for the American Dental Association’s Annual Session. We handed out over 300 samples of our Infection Prevention products to attendees eager to learn why our products outperform the competition. While we were there to work, we did manage to squeeze some fun in at the show. We met the History Channel’s Pawn Stars, and watched them appraise some unique items brought in by dentists from across the country. Mike Tyson was seen wandering around the Mandalay Bay hotel, whether he was there for the ADA trade show or for pleasure is still up for discussion. We saw bright lights, flashy cars, and while we were temporarily distracted by shiny things, we did not forget the reason for the visit.
We attended the show to hand out samples, promote our products, and to tell our audience why our products are superior to those of our competition. Our wipes are an alcohol free intermediate level disinfectant, safe to use on all surfaces, and will not crack, peel or damage expensive equipment, instruments, or surfaces. They are EPA approved for use barehanded in the absence of bodily soils, so your office staff can use the same wipes in the waiting area of your office as they use in the clinical areas.
At the closing of t
he show, we donated our remaining product to the University of California San Diego Student-Run Free Dental Clinic Project. Their licensed volunteer dentists and specialists provide quality dental care to uninsured inner-city families, the working poor, and homeless of all ages. Each clinic provides a wide variety of free dental care, and with the help of our donations, will be able to continue providing care. Certol is proud to donate product in order to help out clinics and dental facilities to prevent the spread of infection.
